Gen. William "Buck" Kernan, 2010
Thank you for a first-class pheasant and duck hunting experience last November. Our entire group throughly enjoyed themselves due primarily to your very professional staff. The lodge, food, and service were fantastic and the hunting premier. This is a hunter's paradise. We are all indebted to you for a memorable hunting trip and look forward to our next opportunity to hunt wih you again.

It was a great experience. The hunting was special, (as we all limited out every day) but the people made it. You have a great family and you made us feel like part of it......I look forward to next year and hope to be able to stay longer. Thanks for everything.

Here's the deal...you can ask Jack for further details...he hasn't committed yet...he went this past year...get on him...anyway, it's an awesome trip...the usual deal to fly to Minn-St. Paul then to Aberdeen on Thursday morning...arrive in Aberdeen a little after lunch...(Brad and I are going Wednesday this year)...anyway...the guides pick you up at the airport...go buy booze, shells, and hunting license (3 min from airport)...then to the lodge (20 minutes)...drop off your luggage, grab your coat, waders and gun and go duck hunt that afternoon...go back to the lodge...start drinkin' and smokin' and eat an awesome dinner (not fancy, but home-style)...Fri & Sat, we get up early (5:30a.m.) and duck hunt...usually limit out by 9:00 a.m...go back to lodge for a phenomenal breakfast...take a nap...around 1:00 p.m. get yer orange on and go shoot pheasants...if in a rare event you don't limit out on duck in morning, then go mop up around 4:00p.m....Sunday, duck hunt..big breakfast,,,fly out around 1:00p.m...there is almost always an awesome football game Sat night...it's an awesome trip...flights around $500-600...it's a helluva trip...put some heat on Jack...we had a great time last year...they only caveat is that you must successfully be drawn in the SD state waterfowl lottery...(about 90% success)...

I have been hunting with quite a few commercial outfits over the years and wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed your hunt and I can honestly say that I have never been to another outfitter who has done a more thorough job of taking care of your hunters from beginning to end.
We could not have been happier and will be out again next year if we get drawn. One very important question though - -do you have the recipe for the pheasant dish we had our last night there? That was some really good stuff and I forgot to ask for the recipe.
Thanks and have a safe and Merry Christmas.

Thank you for a great trip. The guides, the accommodations, the food and the spectacular South Dakota setting were all superb.
The Brennan boys all had a ball - what a great break from the world - reentry is an entirely different topic! I hope we can make it back next year.
Best and thanks again to your great team.

I want to say thanks for everything, we had a great time. Everything was as good as it gets and no one could ever ask for more. It may come as a surprise to you but most men are a lot more self sufficient then they let on to be. We really don't mind fending for ourselves a little bit, but having you girls around was indeed a treat. My favorite meal was breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner! Really, I guess I would have to say that the grilled ribeyes were my favorite. I'm a steak man and I've never tasted a better one anywhere. Everything else was really good also, just too much of it. I have enrolled myself in Jenny Craig and they immediately sewed my lips shut. They told me they would remove the stitches in 2 weeks because I had been a bad boy. The lodge looks great and we couldn't have asked for better hospitality, we felt right at home. David and Josh are doing a good job also. You girls should be proud of them. They are fine young men.
Thank Again,
Rick Roe
